How do I get to the ceremony?

  • St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church, 12001 214th Street, Hawaiian Gardens, CA

  • From LA: take the 5 S to the 605 S. Exit on Carson St. Turn right onto Carson St. Turn left onto Pioneer Blvd. Turn right onto 214th St. Follow the curve, church is on the right side.

  • From South OC: take the 405 N, 605 N, exit Carson St. Turn right onto Carson St. Turn left onto Pioneer Blvd. Turn right onto 214th St. Follow the curve, church is on the right side.

  • From the Midwest / East Coast: hop on a plane, land at LAX, tell the cabbie you are heading to the most awesome wedding on the planet.

How do I get to the reception?

  • The Westin Long Beach Hotel, 333 East Ocean Boulevard, Long Beach, CA

  • From the church, head west on 214th St. Turn Left onto Pioneer Blvd. Turn right on Carson St, merge onto 605 S. Merge onto the 405 N towards Santa Monica. Merge onto the 710 S. Take exit 1C toward Downtown Long Beach/Convention Center/Aquarium. Merge onto W Shoreline Dr. Turn left onto E. Ocean Blvd, the hotel will be on the right.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

  • 3:30 PM.

Where should I park?

  • The church parking lot has ample parking for the ceremony. For the reception, please park in the garage below the Westin. The entrance to the parking garage is on Ocean Blvd.

Will I have to pay for parking?

  • Church parking is free and parking at the Westin will be free (don't forget to validate!)

Is there a dress code?

  • Feel free to put on the ritz! Our wedding is Black Tie Optional, so come in your finest (but comfortable) threads. However, the ceremony does take place in a house of worship, so we ask that you please dress respectfully.

What kind of shoes should I wear?

  • The ceremony and reception are both indoors, so wear anything you want to wear, as long as you’re able to dance the night away

Can I bring a date?

  • We decided to scale down our guest list and keep it to close friends and family, that way we are able to throw the party of our dreams with the ones we love. Unless specified on your invitation, sorry, no dates.

I am coming from out of town. Where should I stay?

  • We've blocked rooms at the reception venue for all of our out of town guests (or locals that want to get away). Contact the Westin Hotel at 1800 WESTIN 1 by May 1, 2014 to reserve a room. Please reference the Perez McIntosh wedding. OR visit THE BEN MCINTOSH AND STEPHANIE PEREZ WEDDING, a direct link to our room blocks. Please note that the discounted block rates are for the nights of May 30th & 31st only.

When is the RSVP deadline?

  • Please return your RSVP cards by May 9, 2014.

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

  • Yes, both are wheelchair accessible.

What should/could I do between the ceremony and the reception?

  • Enjoy cocktail hour at the reception venue! It starts at 5:30 PM on the dot!

What kind of food will be served?

  • Delicious food! Don't forget to indicate the preferred meal for each of the invitees.

  • Tenderloin Filet, Bleu Cheese Crust, Pinot Noir Reduction

  • Seared Sea Bass, Toasted Garlic Brown Butter

  • Pan Roasted Lemon-Thyme Chicken

  • Grilled Vegetable Tortellaci

What if I have a dietary restriction?

  • PLEASE let us know, either on the RSVP card or contact us.

Will there be dancing?

  • There will be much jiving, fox trotting, shimmying, two-stepping, and twisting to be found at our wedding. If we’re lucky enough, someone may also be teaching how to dougie.

What time will the reception end?

  • Around 11:30 PM.
