  • Erika Martinez

    Maid of Honor

Erika is the sister I've always wanted; even her slightly senile former boss thought we looked like

sisters. Once you get past the skin color, physical features, and ethnicity, I think she was quite right. We first met in Driver’s Ed class the summer before our Sophomore year of high school. She was gothic and didn’t wear shorts in the oppressive heat; I was instantly terrified. Little did I know, she would turn out to be the amazing woman that I’m lucky enough to call my best friend. Over the years, we’ve gotten ourselves into many hilarious, bizarre, and unbelievable situations. From the salaryman in Tokyo begging us for Yen (who lit up when Erika reached into her purse and stared confusedly at the granola bar she handed him instead) to signing up for a Joy Luck Club Food Tour in Chinatown and finding out we were the youngest people by 40 years, our adventures have been filled with awkwardness, laughter, and love. She has been my sister, confidante, and partner in crime for the past 15 years and will probably join me in being embarrassing moms to our future kids. When she isn’t up to strange hijinks with me, Erika is a Health Educator at Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. She graduated with an MPH from USC and has a black belt in karaoke. You can find her on the dance floor at the reception. Say hi and buy her a drink.

  • Christine Enerio

    Bridesmaid

Christine is one of those friends every woman needs but few are lucky are enough to find. She has

been there for me at my worst and has cheered me at my best. She is always honest with me and when I need a good butt-kicking, she'll do it in the most caring way. Like with Lisa and Erika, Christine and I met in high school and immediately clicked, as we were both old souls with a similar senses of humor. I recognized back then, as I do now, that Christine is a compassionate, thoughtful, and genuine person. It's really no surprise that she's so good at what she does: Christine currently works as a Counselor and received her Masters in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University. Not only is Christine a wonderful person, but she is one of the coolest people I've ever known. Seriously, she's got style, she's got grace, she's a lady. See for yourself – you'll find Christine on the dancefloor with her boyfriend, Jon, or keeping the DJ in check with his song choices.

  • ChiTin Taylor

    Bridesmaid

Before I had met Chi, the only thing I knew about her was a short description from a mutual friend:

"Chi is AWESOME!" A few years of friendship later, I can attest to the awesomeness of this woman. She is by far the most creative and talented person I've ever met and amazes me everytime she churns out a new project. For example, for Halloween one year she handmade a prosthetic mask and costume for her husband so he could be Voldemort to her Bellatrix; to no one's surprise, they won best costume. Chi also serves as my foodie friend and our conversations always end up revolving around something delicious. We've gone on many gourmet adventures together and somehow she stays tiny (that brat). Most of all, though, what I love about Chi is her friendliness and kindness to everyone she meets. Strike up a conversation with her and you'll agree, she is indeed awesome. She currently lives in Irvine, CA with her husband Gerry and their two large cats, Big Baby and Little Baby.

  • Lisa Newon

    Bridesmaid

My fabulous friend Lisa is one of a kind. In addition to being brilliant, she's sweet, hilarious and

delightfully nerdy. Back in high school, Lisa would pull many a prank on me that would leave me shaking my head while laughing hysterically. I couldn't even get mad because her pranks were so creative and excellent. Even now she never fails to crack me up and I know that whenever we see each other, it'll definitely be a good time. As an added bonus, Lisa is one of the few females that I can talk about gaming to who won't give me a confused look! That's a win in my book. This amazing woman is finishing up her PhD in Linguistic Anthropology at UCLA and has numerous publications to her name. I am truly in awe of her hard work and accomplishments. Lisa currently lives in Los Angeles and is planning her own wedding with her equally awesome Fiance, Travis. Say hi, you can find her by following the glare from that big beautiful rock on her hand.

  • Desiree Bellicini

    Bridesmaid

This lovely lady is my beautiful cousin, Desiree. It's ridiculous how alike we are; it's almost like having a

twin, who is far more fit than I am. When I was a kid, my family would visit hers in Germany during the summer. Our mothers decided to dress us up in matching clothing, which thankfully did not influence our fashion sense. My fondest memory of those times was having a (little) big sister I could look up to who taught all the important things in life, like how Jordan was the best member of New Kids On The Block. In all honesty, though, Desiree is a beautiful, caring, witty, dedicated, and hardworking woman who I admire and respect. Though we've never lived closer than 1,500 miles apart, I can count on her to be there for me in the blink of an eye and I hope she knows I would do the same for her. I wish I were half the woman she is and I'm lucky to call her family. She and her husband, Zach, just recently moved to Southern California and are loving the beach city life. You can find her and Zach with drinks and props in hand while waiting in line for the photo booth. Say hi and buy them a round.

  • David Lannigan

    Best Man

I've been best friends with David since middle school. I was pretty shy, so I was kind of shocked when

this guy just randomly came up to me on the bus and started talking about hockey. Lucky for me he didn't really care that I didn't talk a lot, and lucky for him I had a high tolerance for sports trivia. Even though I moved to California over 13 years ago, we've stayed best friends. I can't imagine anyone more suited to be my best man!

Tom is my StarCraft buddy and I met him through Stephanie. He is very easy going and one of the easiest

people to talk to. He is a foodie. He is a purveyor of nice pens. He is a car enthusiast. He is Tom! He has been a great friend to both of us and it's no wonder I asked him to be a groomsman.
